Most recipes are for six servings but I only need four, so this is a slimmed-down version.

Recipe Ingredients for Sloppy Joes for Four

1 lb ground beef
1/2 medium chopped onion
1/2 cup ketchup
2 T vinegar
2 T sugar
2 T mustard

Recipe Directions for Sloppy Joes for Four

  1. Spray non-stick cooking spray into pan. Brown onion and add ground beef.

  2. After browned, drain beef.

  3. Combine sugar, ketchup, mustard, and vinegar. Add to pan and simmer for 15-20 minutes until thick.

  4. Depending on your caloric intake, add your favorite bread or buns to complete this meal!
