All-american recipe! Replace beef with textured vegetable protein for an IBS-friendly (and/or vegetarian) meal!

Recipe Ingredients for Sloppy Joe Mix

1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup onion, diced
1 cup celery, diced
1 1/2 cup water
16 oz. tomato sauce
2 tbsp chili powder (mild)
1 tsp dried mustard
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 lb ground beef
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp molasses
2 tbsp cider vinegar

Recipe Directions for Sloppy Joe Mix

Heat the oil in a medium saucepan, and cook the ground beef. Add & saute the onions and celery until very tender. Add all remaining ingredients except the buns and stir well. Simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes. Serve mixture on buns or rolls.
