Recipe Ingredients for Sloppy Joe Meat

1 lb 80/20 ground beef
89 grams onion, finely chopped
21 grams jalapeno, minced
82 grams green bell pepper, finely chopped
15 oz tomato sauce
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp cumin
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp yellow mustard
2 tbsp barbecue sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Recipe Directions for Sloppy Joe Meat

  1. Saute onions, jalapeno, and garlic in a pot.

  2. Add meat and brown.

  3. Stir in bell peppers.

  4. When meat is brown, add remaining ingredients.

  5. Simmer.

  6. Serve over whole wheat buns.
