Recipe Ingredients for Slim Bearnaise sauce

1/2 onion
150 ml water
3 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 tsp tarragon, dried
3 egg yolks
50 ml quark
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Slim Bearnaise sauce

  1. Finely chop the onion. Cook onion, water, vinegar and tarragon reducing it by half. Take the pot of the heat and set to one side.

  2. Separate the egg yolks and whisk them in a bowl. Add to the onion mixture. Place the pot back on the heat.

  3. On low heat whisk the sauce til it thinkens to a creamy consistency. Take off the heat, add salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
