Recipe Ingredients for Skor Toffee Bars - 9x13 pan cut into 32 pieces

3/4 cup margarine
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
300 ml sweetened condensed milk (Eagle brand)
2 tbsp margarine
300 g Chipits milk chocolate chips
225 g Chipits Skor toffee bits

Recipe Directions for Skor Toffee Bars - 9x13 pan cut into 32 pieces

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Combine margarine, sugar and flour. Pat into 9x13 pan and bake for 22-25 minutes or until golden brown.

  3. While crust cools, combine 2 tbsp margarine and sweetened condensed milk. Boil together until thickened. I do this in the microwave and it takes about 5-10 minutes. DO NOT BURN! Stir often.

  4. Pour mixture over base layer and return to oven for about 12-15 minutes or until it is all bubbly.

  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Return to oven for 2 minutes or until chips are soft.

  6. Take out and spread chocolate chips over bars.

  7. Sprinkle with toffee bits and press down.

  8. Cool and cut into bars.
