Recipe Ingredients for Skinny Scalloped Potatoes

4 potatoes
1 c low fat milk
1 1/2 c chicken broth
1 1/2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 black pepper, to taste

Recipe Directions for Skinny Scalloped Potatoes

  1. preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. combine chicken broth, milk, flour, basil, and garlic powder in saucepan over medium heat. cook 5-7 minutes or until mixture begins to thicken

  3. grease a casserole dish, set aside

  4. slice potatoes into 1/8 in rounds

  5. layer potatoes in casserole dish in an overlapping manner. sprinkle with salt and pepper. pour a portion of the broth mixture over the potatoes. repeat, layering potatoes and broth mix until finished

  6. cover, bake for 30 minutes. bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender
