Very good nachos with half the calories of regular nachos. I got this recipe from www.skinnytaste.com.

Recipe Ingredients for Skinny Loaded Nachos with Turkey

4 oz Tortilla Chips
8 oz Ground Turkey
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Garlic Powder
8 oz Spicy Black Bean Dip
1.5 cup Reduced Fat Mexican Blend Shredded Cheese
16 oz Pico De Gallo Sauce
4 oz Light Sour Cream
2 oz Cilantro

Recipe Directions for Skinny Loaded Nachos with Turkey

  1. Pre-heat oven to 425.

  2. Place 4oz. of chips (scoops) on a large baking sheet.

  3. Heat a large nonstick saute pan over medium high heat.

  4. Add the ground turkey and season with the cumin and garlic powder.

  5. Break up the meat as it cooks into small pieces and until cook til done.

  6. Stir in the spicy bean dip and stir thoroughly.

  7. Spoon the turkey mixture over the chips and then sprinkle the cheese on top.

  8. Bake until the cheese melts, about 6 minutes.

  9. Remove the nachos from the oven and top with the pico de gallo, sour cream and cilantro.

  10. Serve immediately.
