Recipe Ingredients for skinny beast ziti parm

16 oz whole wheat pasta
15 oz nonfat ricotta cheese
2 cups mozzarella, fat free
3 cups tomato sauce, no salt added
1/4 cup parmesian cheese
1/2 lb ground beef, 97% fat free

Recipe Directions for skinny beast ziti parm

  1. brown beef, drain

  2. add tomato sauce, simmer 10 min

  3. meanwhile cook pasta according to package, drain and mix with meatsauce

  4. in a bowl combine 1 cup mozzarella and all ricotta and basil, oregano and garlic powder

  5. in a 13x9x2 pan, add half of the pasta mixture

  6. spread the cheese mixture evenly over the pasta

  7. add the rest of the pasta

  8. top with remaining mozzarell and parmesian

  9. cover with foil & cook 30 minutes, take off foil and cook 10 more minutes
