This custard is not incredibly sweet, it's more of a coffee time item, but I love it. Like certain asian sweets, it doesn't pack a huge amount of sugar but it still a mild pleasure for those who like a custard texture.

Recipe Ingredients for Skim Milk Powder Maple custard

3 eggs
1/2 cup 100% Pure Maple Syrup
1/2 ounce Organic Raw Cacao Powder
1 tsp coconut extract
1 cup skim milk powder
13 oz. Water

Recipe Directions for Skim Milk Powder Maple custard

preheat oven to 350 degrees. lightly beat the eggs, then blend all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. pour liquid into 6 ceramic ramekins, or one glass baking dish, and place dish into a metal baking pan with one inch of water. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. You may replace the water added with some sort of fruit juice if you prefer more sweetness. Cider and apple may go well with the maple.
