Delicious recipe for a weekday dinner. Turkey, wide nooddles, pasta sauce, zucchini and ricotta, combined to make a yummy skillet lasagna

Recipe Ingredients for Skillet Turkey Lasagna

3 links lean turkey italian sausage (cut in pieces)
1/2 cup onion (chopped)
2 cups Traditional pasta sauce
1 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of dried noodles
1 1/2 cups zucchini (coarsely chopped)
1/2 cup part skim ricotta cheese

Recipe Directions for Skillet Turkey Lasagna

  1. In a large skillet, brown turkey sausages and onions until golden and tender.

  2. Add pasta sauce and water to the skillet. Bring to a boil.

  3. Add noodles and zucchini to the mixture, lower heat and simmer covered for about 10-12 minutes or until nooddles are tender.

  4. Remove from heat.

  5. Add ricotta cheese to the pasta/sausage mixture and serve.
