This spaghetti is extra good because the noodles are cooked in the sauce and soak up extra flavor.

Recipe Ingredients for Skillet Spaghetti

28 ounce pasta sauce
12 ounce spaghetti noodles
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe Directions for Skillet Spaghetti

  1. In 12" skillet combine sauce & water; stir to combine. Bring to a boil over med-high heat.

  2. Add spaghetti noodles and stir well, making sure the noodles are under the sauce (completely covered in it)--if necessary, add 1/4 c. more water. Bring to a boil again, cover, reduce heat to low & simmer 20-25 minutes, stirring frequently.

  3. Top with cheese and serve immediately. (If adding meatballs, put them in when spaghetti is half cooked) Serves 4
