Delicious lasagna made on the stove top

Recipe Ingredients for Skillet Lasagna

1 lb ground turkey
1 chopped onion
3 garlic cloves
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
8 oz can tomato sauce
1 1/4 cup water
6 oz tomato paste
1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
6 oz dry whole wheat egg noodles
1 cup 1% cottage cheese
1/4 cup parmesean cheese
1/4 cup egg substitute

Recipe Directions for Skillet Lasagna

  1. Brown turkey with onions and garlic. Drain.

  2. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, herbs then stir in uncooked egg noodles.

  3. Bring to a boil stirring occaisionally.

  4. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 min. or until pasta is al dente.

  5. Combine cheeses and egg substitute

  6. Drop by table spoonfuls, cover and cook 5 minutes more
