Sweet & sour skillet dinner to be served over rice

Recipe Ingredients for Skillet ham, pineapple and peppers

400 g ham, diced
2 tbsp margarine
227 g pineapple chunks
259 g green peppers, cut in strips
1/2 c light brown sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 c chicken broth
1/2 c cider vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce

Recipe Directions for Skillet ham, pineapple and peppers

  1. Stir-fry ham in margarine 3-5 minutes over moderately high heat until lightly browned.

  2. Add pineapple and peppers and stir-fry 3-4 minutes until peppers are crisp-tender.

  3. Mix sugar, cornstarch, broth, vinegar, and soy sauce, stir into skillet and heat, stirring until thickened.

  4. Serve over rice
