Recipe Ingredients for Skillet Chicken Pilaf

24 oz Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
24 oz Fresh Boneless Skinless Chicken Thigh Cutlets
1 tsp Salt, Table
0.25 tsp Pepper, Black
2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
1 onion Yellow Onion
1 cup dry Instant Rice
6 oz Tomato Paste
2.75 cup Chicken Broth

Recipe Directions for Skillet Chicken Pilaf

  1. Add onions to skillet. Cook, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5 minutes. Add rice and cook, stirring until grains are translucent, about 3 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, bring chicken broth to a boil in a medium saucepan. Add broth, tomato paste and cinnamon stick to skillet. Stir well. Arrange chicken on top of rice mixture. Reduce heat to low. Cook, covered, until rice has absorbed liquid and juices run clear when meat is pierced with a knife, about 25 minutes.
