Recipe Ingredients for SKillet Bowtie Dinner

8 oz pasta, bowtie
1 lb beef, ground
1 tblsp canola oil
8 oz green beans, cut into 1" pcs
1/2 c onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
14 1/2 oz tomatoes, Italian seasoned
8 oz (1 pkg) cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tblsp tomato paste

Recipe Directions for SKillet Bowtie Dinner

  1. Cook pasta according to directions.

  2. Position oven rack 4" from heat source and preheat broiler.

  3. Heat skillet over medium high heat, add beef, til pink disappears. Drain and set aside. In same skillet heal oil over med high heat, add green beans, onion, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook until veggie soften, stir in tomatoes, 1 c cheese and tomato paste and reserved beef and pasta - heat through about 1 min. Remove fr4om heat - sprinkle with remaining cheese and place under broiler til cheese melts.

  4. Makes 6 servings.
