Skewered flank steak in an aromatic marinade

Recipe Ingredients for Skewered steak spirals

1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp green onions
1/8 cup honey
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
1 1/2 lbs flank steak , thinly sliced

Recipe Directions for Skewered steak spirals

  1. Spray a large foil pan with non-stick spray.

  2. Add all ingredients accept steak, a mix in pan.

  3. Take long skewers and weave steak pieces in either an accordion or spiraling manner.

  4. Place steak down in marinade and move to next skewer.

  5. Flip all skewers over in marinade. Let sit overnight, remembering to turn once more within that time.

  6. Grill spirals for 15-17 minutes for medium doneness (160oF internal temperature reading on a meat thermometer), turning once.

  7. You may want to place a piece of aluminum foil underneath the exposed portion of the skewers to keep them from burning.

  8. Remove from heat carefully (the skewers get hot!).
