Recipe Ingredients for Sizzling Chicken Fajita

1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breast
2 medium onions
1 large red bell pepper
2 medium zucchini
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tsp. liquid smoke
2 tbs apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. honey
1/4 cup water
1 tbs. fresh lime juice
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1 tsp. soy sauce
4 tortilla+large+approx+10"+dia flour tortilla

Recipe Directions for Sizzling Chicken Fajita

  1. Combine marinade:

  2. 1/2 cup olive oil

  3. 1 tsp. liquid smoke

  4. 2 tbs apple cider vinegar

  5. 1 tsp. honey

  6. 1/4 cup water

  7. 1 tbs. fresh lime juice

  8. 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

  9. 3 cloves garlic, minced

  10. 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves

  11. 1 tsp. soy sauce

  12. Rinse chicken in cold water and cut into 1/4" strips.

  13. Slice onions, zucchini, and bell pepper into 1/4" strips.

  14. Marinate chicken in 2/3 of the marinade.

  15. Marinate vegetables with the remaining 1/3 of the marinade.

  16. Refrigerate and let marinade for at least 2 hours.

  17. Pan fry chicken until white on medium heat (should be ~5 - 8 minutes). If chicken runs clear liquid then chicken is cooked.

  18. Remove chicken and stir fry vegetables on medium-high heat until slightly limp but still crispy (should be ~3 - 4 minutes).

  19. Stir in chicken and drizzle some of the marinade from ONLY THE VEGETABLE DISH into the mixture.

  20. Dish and serve on tortillas.
