Recipe Ingredients for Sizedown Stew

32 oz Beef Stew Meat
14 1/2 oz Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
10 oz Beef Broth
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Marjoram, Dried
1/4 tsp Pepper, Black
2 cup diced Potato, Flesh And Skin
1 cup, diced Celery
1 medium Carrots
3 small Onions
1 cup Del Monte Fresh Cut Cut Green Beans
1/8 cup Whole Wheat Flour

Recipe Directions for Sizedown Stew

  1. Preheat oven to 325

  2. Preheat heavy pan and brown beef cubes on all sides. Transfer meat to a dutch oven along with tomatoes, and broth.

  3. Season with garlic powder, marjoram, and pepper and bring to boil, stirring frequently.

  4. Add potatoes, celery, carrots, and onions and season to taste with pepper.

  5. after 1 hour, stir in green beans, replace cover and continue baking an additional hour or until meat is tender.

  6. Just before serving, stir in flour mixture (2tbs flour mixed into a slurry with an equal amount of water) and heat on stove, stirring until sauce is thickened.
