Recipe Ingredients for Sirloin Steak Salad

1/3 pound sirloin
1/4 head romaine lettuce, cut into bite-size pieces
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced into rings
6 cherry tomatoes, halved
1 1/2 ounces Gorgonzola, coarsely crumbled
3 tbsp Balsamic and Red Wine Vinegar Salad Dressing
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 freshly ground black pepper

Recipe Directions for Sirloin Steak Salad

  1. Broil sirloin rump steak, four minutes on each side, and cut steak crosswise into thin slices.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and half of the cheese. Toss the salad with enough vinaigrette to coat. Season the salad with salt and pepper, to taste.

  3. Place the salad on a platter, arrange the steak on the salad, sprinkle with the rest of cheese, and serve.
