1 large(50 g) Egg, Whole
14.7 grams Almond Meal/Flour
1 tbsp Organic Coconut Flour
1 tsp Sea Salt

Recipe Directions for Single Gluten Free Burger Bun

  1. Servings: 1

  2. Preparation Time: 10 minutes

  3. Ingredients for one single bun:

  4. 1 egg

  5. 1 tablespoon coconut flour

  6. 1 tablespoon blanched almond flour

  7. 1 tablespoon coconut oil (olive oil or melted butter)

  8. Pinch salt

  9. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

  10. Optional:

  11. 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast

  12. 1/4 teaspoon poppy seeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds

  13. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  14. Add all ingredients and blend together using a hand blender or small food processor. Let the batter settle for a few minutes to thicken.

  15. Split the mixture into two and spoon onto oiled parchment paper to make two 3-inch diameter pools of batter. Top with additional seeds if desired.

  16. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes.

  17. Use each piece as top and bottom of a burger bun.

  18. While it is baking you can throw your burger on the grill. If you're lucky the burger will be done by the time the bun is cooked!
