1 stick Butter
1 3/10 cup Sugars, Granulated
2 egg Grade A Jumbo Brown Eggs
2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1 cup Cocoa, Dry Powder, Unsweetened
1 serving Baking Soda
4 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Tomato Soup
8 oz Fat Free Cream Cheese
1 stick(113 g) Butter
4 cup Confectioners Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Recipe Directions for sinfully delicious cake

  1. Easy Tomato Soup Chocolate Cake

  3. cup butter

  4. 1 1/3 cups sugar

  5. 2 eggs

  6. 2 cups of all-purpose flour

  7. cup powdered cocoa

  8. 1 Tablespoon baking powder

  9. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  10. 1/4 cup warm tap water

  11. 1 can (10 oz.) condensed tomato soup

  12. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  13. Grease and flour a 9 x 13 in. baking pan

  14. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, beating until fluffy. In a small bowl mix together dry ingredients, including cocoa.

  15. Mix tomato soup and water together.

  16. Add dry and wet ingredients alternately to the butter/sugar bowl. Bake 30 minutes and let cool before frosting.

  17. Cream Cheese Frosting

  18. 8 oz. cream cheese, softened to room temp.

  19. 1 stick of butter

  20. 4 cups powdered sugar

  21. 1 tsp. vanilla

  22. 1 tablespoon milk or cream

  23. Cream butter and cream cheese together, then beat in powdered sugar. Add vanilla and thin frosting out with milk as needed.
