This is a lean and taisty meal for the whole family.

Recipe Ingredients for Simple sloppy Joe

2 oz red peppers
2 oz white onion
1 cup canned plum tomatoes
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 lb extra lean ground beef

Recipe Directions for Simple sloppy Joe

  1. Brown the ground beef.Drain fat. Set aside. Chop the onion and red pepper. Cut the tomatoes. Add the pepper and the onion to the fry pan for three minutes, add the beef and mix together. Add the spices and stir in well. Pour in the tomatoes and sauce into the the pan, simmer for 10 minutes at medium heat.

  2. Remove from heat and serve on a low calorie whole wheat bun.
