The most basic simple salad there is.

Recipe Ingredients for Simple Salad

1 cup shredded lettuce
1 small tomato
2 dill pickles
1/2 avocado
1/2 tablespoon shredded cheese
1 tablespoon light italian dressing

Recipe Directions for Simple Salad

  1. Chop up the lettuce and place in a bowl.

  2. Cut the tomato in half, squeeze the halves to remove the seeds.

  3. Dice the tomato and place in the bowl.

  4. Thinly slice the pickles and cut the slices in half.

  5. Dice the avocado and add the the salad.

  6. Top with shredded cheese and dressing.

  7. Toss.

  8. Finish with nuts if desired.
