This healthy and simple omelette is perfect to start your day. Tastes great with toast and a glass of orange juice.

Recipe Ingredients for Simple Omelette

1 whole egg, beaten
1 egg white, beaten
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper
1 spring onion
1 slice turkey breast
1/2 tomato, diced
1 tsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Simple Omelette

  1. Separate egg white from egg yolk into two separate bowls. Add the 2nd egg white to the egg white bowl and dispose of yolk.

  2. Beat egg whites with a whisk until fluffy and a little bit stiff. Add yolk, salt and pepper and gently fold in.

  3. Chop spring onion (or normal onion will do too) and tomato and add to mixture.

  4. Slice turkey breast into thin strips and add. Gently fold in entire mixture. If you beat all ingredients in, they become mushy and the egg whites are no longer stiff. That slight stiffness actually makes them fluffy when the mixture hits the pan.

  5. Heat a teaspoon of olive oil in a pan and wait til really hot. Then add omelette and cook.

  6. Serve hot with toast.
