Recipe Ingredients for Simple Oatmeal

250 grams oat groats
400 grams water
1 pinch sea salt
1 tsp butter
1 tbsp milk, skimmed

Recipe Directions for Simple Oatmeal

  1. Cook oats in boiling water for around 5 minutes [add 900 ml water]

  2. Soak overnight.

  3. Add butter

  4. Cook over low heat for around twenty minutes, or until water is absorbed.

  5. Stir occasionally - more frequently once the oats start to boil

  6. Add milk at the end

  7. Enjoy
