Recipe Ingredients for Simple Marinara Sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup finely diced onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
56 ounce crushed tomatoes
6 ounce tomato paste
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Recipe Directions for Simple Marinara Sauce

Heat oil in large skillet over medium to medium high heat. Stir in onion, garlic and celery and cook until soft. Pour in tomatoes and tomato paste, stir, reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in parsley, basil, oregano. Simmer 15 minutes, uncovered.
