Recipe Ingredients for Simple Lasagna

360 g Beef Mince
166 g Lasagna
400 g Chopped Tomatoes
150 g Tomato Puree
1 tbsp. Garlic (chopped)
1 tbsp. of Oregano
1 medium Onion
1 tbsp. Olive Oil
160 g Mozzarella Cheese
2 tbsp. Ricotta Cheese

Recipe Directions for Simple Lasagna

  1. I used nine sheets of pasta for my recipe.

  2. Mix the tomatoes, puree, oregano and fried onion & garlic (which has been fried in the olive oil) in a bowl. This will make the sauce.

  3. Spray the lasagna dish with cooking spray and add the first layer of lasagna sheets. (about three for mine)

  4. Spread some of the sauce you made on top and then add another three sheets of lasagna.

  5. Place all the mince which you have browned up in a pan and then the ricotta with some more sauce.

  6. Be sure to leave some sauce for the top!!

  7. Add the 3 remaining sheets and then spread the rest of the saue on top, making sure you cover every centimeter of the sheets, or they'll go crispy in the oven!

  8. Cook at 180 C / 350 F for about 30 mins(or more), and then add the mozarella to the top and leave for another 10 mins or so, until the cheese is a nice brown.

  9. Voila! Serve up with a healthy salad or some homemade garlic bread.
