Spiced meatballs made with ground chicken. You can add heat by adding chilli flakes or chilli paste to your taste.

Recipe Ingredients for Simple Koftas

300 g ground chicken
1/2 medium onion, chopped roughly
3 cloves garlic
1 large egg, whole
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 tsp cumin, crushed
1 tsp canola oil
1/4 tsp salt
1 pinch ground black pepper

Recipe Directions for Simple Koftas

  1. Place all ingredients in food processor and pulse to mix thoroughly.

  2. Shape into 8 rounds, patties or divide into 8 and form into sausages around skewers.

  3. Cook in a non-stick pan or bake on 200C for approx. 40 mins or until cooked through.

  4. Enjoy with tzatziki, green salad and pitas.
