Recipe Ingredients for Simple Cincinnati Chili

1 clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup chicken broth
8 ounce tomato sauce (1 small can)
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

Recipe Directions for Simple Cincinnati Chili

  1. Heat non-stick skillet to medium. Add ground beef and cook until almost completely done.

  2. Drain fat. Add back to pan, add all remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.

  3. Serve over cooked pasta, with cheese, peppers, whatever!
