Simple and easy. Serve with rice, couscous, or warmed flatbread.

Recipe Ingredients for Simple Chickpea Curry

2 cup Peas Chick
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
454 2 grams Tomatoes Diced
2 pat (1" sq, 1/3" high) Butter
3 tsp Ginger Root
2 tsp Cumin
2 tsp Curry Powder

Recipe Directions for Simple Chickpea Curry

  1. Chop the onion and press or mince the garlic.

  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat. Add the onion and saute, stirring occasionally, until onions are translucent. Add garlic and ginger, and continue cooking until garlic begins to brown.

  3. Add spices, and cook for another minute or so. You may also want to add a dash of cayenne.

  4. Add tomatoes, and cook until the mixture thickens slightly.

  5. Add chickpeas, and cook for another few minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
