Recipe Ingredients for Simple Chicken Parmesan

1 egg
1/4 cup BREADCRUMBS
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp PARMESAN CHEESE
2 tbsp crushed red pepper
2 chicken breast, boneless, skinless
8 ounces part-skim mozzarella shredded
13 tbsp tostitos all natural medium salsa

Recipe Directions for Simple Chicken Parmesan

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Mix the breadcrumbs with the salt, pepper, italian seasonings, and red pepper.

  3. Dip each piece of chicken in egg, and then in bread crumbs.

  4. Arrange chicken pieces in Large casserole or baking dish.

  5. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.

  6. Pour sauce over chicken; top with cheese(s).

  7. Bake 10 minutes more, or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run Clear when you poke one piece w/knife.
