Recipe Ingredients for Simple Cabbage Soup

1/2 cup lentils
2 cups vegetable broth
4 cups water
1 medium onion
2 garlic cloves
2 small green peppers
8 cabbage leaves
1 tbsp basil
1/2 tbsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Simple Cabbage Soup

  1. Cut everything up in bite sized pieces and throw it in a large pot with the liquids and seasonings.

  2. Bring to a boil and then simmer until lentils are tender and veggies are tender.
