Easy apple crisp, can be made with pears or a combo

Recipe Ingredients for simple apple crisp

6 macintosh apples medium
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tbs oat flour or cornstarch
1 1/2 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup oat flour
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Recipe Directions for simple apple crisp

  1. core and chop apples, leave skins on for more fiber

  2. toss apples in lemon juice and 2 tbs oat flour

  3. spray baking dish with canola oil

  4. put apples into an 8x8 baking dish

  5. in a medium sized bowl, add melted butter

  6. remaining ingredients, mix until it resembles crumbs

  7. top apples evenly

  8. bake at 375 until apples soft and top lightly browned
