Recipe Ingredients for Silvana's Cake Frosting/Filling

1 l milk
170 g sugar
2 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp flour
100 g gelatin
4 eggs

Recipe Directions for Silvana's Cake Frosting/Filling

  1. Egg yolk, half sugar, vanilla extract mix in a bowl. Add 100 ml or 1/4 cup of milk and mix more. Add flour and gelatin and keep mixing (use low setting). Beat egg whites until foamy and add the other half of sugar.

  2. In deeper sauce pan add rest of the milk, bring it to boiling and start slowly adding the mixture previously mixed. Bring it to boiling for about a min, continuously stirring so it does not form any air pockets or clumps. Move it away from heat source and add egg white foam.
