Very easy and impressive dish to serve company.. I have served with crusty bread and Mandarin-Orange and Red-Onion Salad

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Victoria

32 ounce Shrimp , raw, peeled and cleaned
2 small white onions, sliced
1/4 cup butter
8 ounce mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/8 tsp. chili powder
2 cups sour cream
2 cups rice, cooked

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Victoria

  1. Saute shrimp and onion in butter for 10 minutes or until shrimp are tender/pink.

  2. Add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes more.

  3. Sprinkle in flour, salt and chili powder.

  4. Stir in sour cream and cook gently for 5 to 8 minutes, (low heat) not allowing mixture to boil.

  5. Serve over rice.
