Flounder or other suitable white fish stuufeed with shrimp and spinich

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Stuffed Fish Fillet Florntine

6 ounce baby spinach
2 fish fillet
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons of minced onions
1 tablespoons olive oil
10 shrimp
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Stuffed Fish Fillet Florntine

  1. Preheat oven to 320 F.

  2. Sauté the spinach and garlic in oil for 2 minutes or until spinach begins to wilt; remove to bowl.

  3. Sauté onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

  4. Gradually add fat free half and half. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened.

  5. In a lightly oiled baking dish layer the fish filet, spinach, and shrimp.

  6. gently spoon on the sauce and top with the second fish filet.

  7. Bake covered for 40 minutes.
