Shrimp sauteed in a white wine and garlic sauce with penne pasta

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Scampi

6 oz whole wheat penne pasta
1 1/2 T extra virgin olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
12 oz raw shrimp
4 T Butter Buds
4 T white wine
1/2 t black pepper
1/2 (58 g) lemon (fruit+(2-1/8"+dia))
10 serving Parmesan Reduced Fat
2 T parsley

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Scampi

  1. cook pasta

  2. heat olive oil and garlic in skillet

  3. add shrimp to skillet, cook about 2 mins

  4. add 1T Butter Buds and white wine to shrimp, cook 2 more mins

  5. place pasta in a large mixing bowl and add rest of Butter Buds and pepper, mix

  6. add cooked shrimp to pasta

  7. top with a squeeze of lemon, parmesan, and parsley
