Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Scampi

1 lb Shrimp
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup white wine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh oregano

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Scampi

  1. Heat Olive oil and saute onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes in large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Pour in wine and reduce for 5 minutes.

  3. Add shrimp and heat for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Stir in butter, oregano and salt and pepper to taste. Serve over pasta or rice
