Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Scampi

20 large shrimp
3 tbsp country crock (spread)
1/8 cup olive oil
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp parsley
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Scampi

  1. Preheat oven to 450 F.

  2. Melt the spread and add olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, parsley and salt.

  3. Shell and devein the shrimp. Split down the inside lengthwise being careful not to cut through the shrimp. Spread open to simulate butterflies.

  4. Place in a shallow baking pan. Pour sauce over all.

  5. Bake for 5 minutes. Place under broiler for 5 minutes more to brown.
