Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp and Scallop Scampi Recipe

15 oz Shrimp
1 lb Scallops
1 small Onion, diced
1 teaspoon Garlic, chopped small
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp flour
1/4 cup White Wine
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Butter
1/8 teaspoon Pepper

Recipe Directions for Shrimp and Scallop Scampi Recipe

  1. Clean and devein shrimp. Split lengthwise.

  2. Slice scallops in half lengthwise.

  3. In large saute pan heat olive oil.

  4. Add onions and garlic.

  5. Saute 2 minutes.

  6. Add the mushrooms and flour.

  7. Saute for 2 minutes

  8. Add the white wine and lemon juice.

  9. Simmer until a light sauce forms.

  10. Add the seafood.

  11. Cook for 3-5 minutes.

  12. Add the butter and stir until the butter melts.

  13. Add the chopped parsley.

  14. Serve over rice.

  15. Sprinkle the salad croutons on top.
