A light, pesto shrimp pasta with grape tomatoes and asparagus.

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Pesto Pasta

4 oz. angel hair pasta
10 oz. shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 cup asparagus, cut into 3 in. pieces
1 cup grape tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup pesto
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Pesto Pasta

  1. Cook pasta according to package, drain and set aside.

  2. In 12 in. skillet, saute garlic and red pepper flakes in 1 tsp oil over medium heat for 2-3 minutes or until tender.

  3. Add shrimp and saute 3-5 minutes until pink.

  4. Add asparagus and pesto, reduce heat to med low and cook until asparagus is tender.

  5. Add tomatos, cheese and pasta and cook for 1-2 minutes more until all flavors have blended.

  6. Serve with Artisan Bread.
