Shrimp Penne Pasta w/ Tomato Sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Penne Pasta w/ Tomato Sauce

6 oz Penne
3 oz shrimp
2 Canned Diced Tomatoes
1/4 cup Basil
3 cloves Garlic
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground pepper
2 tsp flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tbls Real Bacon Bits (optional)

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Penne Pasta w/ Tomato Sauce

Cook penne pasta for 8-10 minutes. Chop onions and cook until tender on medium heat, add garlic and cook for a minute or two. Add flour and cook for another minute, then add tomatoes, ground pepper, salt, and sugar. Cook for 10 minutes on medium high heat, sauce will thicken as it boils. Lower heat if sauce is boiling too much, should be a light boil. Add Basil and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Garnish with bacon bits if you like.
