Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Penne pasta with broccoli

4 tbsp Parmesan, Grated Cheese
1 dash Salt, Table
1 tbsp Olive Oil
5 cup, chopped Broccoli, Cooked
0.5 tbsp Classic Minced Garlic
0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
4 oz dry Whole Wheat Penne
16 shrimp Shrimp Cooked

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Penne pasta with broccoli

  1. Cook the pasta in rapidly boiling water until done.

  2. Put broccoli and shrimp in a saucepan with the olive oil, garlic, water, and salt.

  3. Bring to a boil, cover tightly, and let steam until the broccoli is bright green and very crunchy-tender - no more than five minutes. Remove the lid and boil off most of the remaining liquid.

  4. Toss the broccoli and shrimp with cooked pasta.

  5. Top with parmesan cheese.
