Recipe Ingredients for shrimp and pasta with tomato sauce and lima beans

6 oz shrimp
156 grams lima beans
4 oz whole wheat pasta
14 oz muir glen fire roasted whole tomatos, pureed
1/4 cup white onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons olive oil

Recipe Directions for shrimp and pasta with tomato sauce and lima beans

  1. heat oil in skillet

  2. add onion and garlic (chopped)

  3. saute until translucent, then add the tomatoes, already pureed and simmer on low.

  4. cook pasta in boiling salted water for 9 minutes. Add the lima beans (frozen) after 2 minutes. Add the shrimp during the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain pasta mixture, top with sauce.
