Healthy pasta dish add whatever you'd like

Recipe Ingredients for shrimp pasta

10 oz spaghetti, whole wheat
12 shrimp, mixed species
8 oz kielbasa
2 roasted red peppers
1/2 green pepper
1/2 onion
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup white wine
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
3 tbsp basil, fresh

Recipe Directions for shrimp pasta

  1. boil pasta in water

  2. heat olive oil in pan

  3. saute garlic and onion and green pepper 5 minutes

  4. add wine to deglaze pan

  5. cook down 5 minutes

  6. add shrimp and kielbasa and cook 3 mins

  7. add roasted red peppers sliced and fresh basil, cook until heated

  8. add salt and pepper to taste

  9. add parmesan cheese, toss and serve
