Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp, Mushroom, Asparagus Alfredo

2 cups half and half
8 oz whole wheat spaghetti
1 cup mushrooms
1 tbsp olive oil
8 asparagus spears
24 large shrimp
3/4 cup mozzarella

Recipe Directions for Shrimp, Mushroom, Asparagus Alfredo

Sautee finely chopped mushrooms, 1 onion, and 3 cloves garlic with red pepper flakes in olive oil until soft. Add 2 tbsp balsalmic vinegar and allow to reduce. Add milk and cheese, stirring constantly, simmer to reduce as needed. Add asparagus, chopped, until just softened but still crisp. Add precooked shrimp to heat through. Serve hot.
