Daddy's recipe - add salt, pepper and Frank's Hot Sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Jambalaya

1 cup brown rice (uncooked)
2 cups water
2 green bell peppers
1 jalapeno pepper
3 tbsp olive oil
1 onion
8 oz tomato
2 tbsp worcestershire
24 oz shrimp

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Jambalaya

  1. Sautee onion and peppers in olive oil (med high)

  2. Add 1 small can of hunts tomato sauce

  3. Add rice, water, worcestershire sauce and hot sauce

  4. 2 min later, add uncooked shrimp

  5. Lower heat to med/med low and cook for about 45 minutes
