Low Country Favorite. Creamy grits loaded with cheddar cheese and topped with savory shrimp, celery, green onion and green pepper.

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp and Grits

1 1/4 lbs shrimp
1/4 cup diced celery
1/4 green onion
1/4 cup green pepper
1 cup grits
1/2 tspn salt
1/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cup cheddar cheese
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp tabasco sauce
1/8 tsp paprika
1 1/4 cups cream of chicken soup

Recipe Directions for Shrimp and Grits

  1. Combine in a quart bag:

  2. 1/4 cup of diced celery

  3. 1/4 cup of chopped green onion

  4. 1/4 cup of diced green pepper

  5. 1 1/4 cups of cream of chicken soup

  6. 1/4 tsp tabasco sauce

  7. 1/8 tsp paprika

  8. In a second quart bag, combine:

  9. 1 cup grits

  10. 1/2 tsp salt

  11. 1/4 cup butter

  12. 1 1/4 cup cheddar cheese

  13. 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  14. Place both bags in a separate gallon bag, add third quart bag containing 1 1/4 lbs of shrimp. Seal and label bag.
