A quick and easy stir-fry made with frozen pre chopped vegetables for a quick night!

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp & Frozen Vegetable Stir-Fry

16 oz Frozen Vegetables, Asian Medley
1 lb Frozen Shrimp (25-32 count)
4 cloves Garlic
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Rice Wine or White Wine
1 tbsp Cornstarch
1 tsp Sugar
2 tbsp Sesame Oil
1/4 cup Water

Recipe Directions for Shrimp & Frozen Vegetable Stir-Fry

  1. Thaw shrimp, if frozen. Rinse shrimp, pat dry with paper towels. Put them in the fridge until ready to use, this process help keep the shrimp meat tender after cooking.

  2. In a small bowl combine water, soy sauce, wine, cornstarch, and sugar, set aside. Make sure there are no lumps that may be created by the cornstarch.

  3. Peel, clean and chop the garlic.

  4. Heat oil in a wok/skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Fry and stir garlic in the hot oil for no more than 15 seconds.

  6. Add the frozen vegetables. Stir-fry for about 2 minutes.

  7. Remove vegetables from wok or skillet.

  8. Pour the soy mixture into wok. Cook and stir until mixture slightly thickened and bubbly.

  9. Take the shrimp out of the refrigerator and add to the cooking mixture. Cook for about 3 minutes or until shrimps are opaque.

  10. Stir in pre-cooked vegetables; cook for additional 30 seconds.

  11. Turn off heat and keep warm on the cooktop.

  12. Meanwhile, cook pasta, ramen, rice or other side dish according to package instructions. Plate and serve!
