Delicious Spicy Italian Shrimp. Excellent served over pasta or with crusty bread to sop up the delicious sauce!

Recipe Ingredients for Shrimp Fra Diavolo

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper, divided
7 g. extra virgin olive oil
235 g. onion
25 g. minced garlic
383 g. italian tomatoes
240 g. organic chicken broth
340 g. frozen shrimp
110 g. mizuna

Recipe Directions for Shrimp Fra Diavolo

  1. Heat oil in a large pan until hot.

  2. Add shrimp, and saute until almost done, but not completely. Remove to a separate dish.

  3. Add onion to oil in pan, saute 5 minutes or until translucent.

  4. Add garlic, can of tomato with juices, wine, salt, oregano and crushed pepper.

  5. Simmer 10-15 minutes until the alcohol has cooked off and sauce has thickened.

  6. Add peas and cooked shrimp. Simmer until both are cooked through.

  7. Serve in a bowl with bread or pasta.
